We came home from a morning shopping the other day to discover a line of black ants making their way along our footpath and through a small crevice into our home. It wasn’t a pleasant sight but we found that we were able to deal with the problem quite easily because we already had a small tune of ant poison in our garden shed from when we had a similar problem last summer. We laid a few drops in strategic places and watched as the ants picked it up and transported it back to the nest. Soon, we saw that the number of ants had dropped drastically.

Cockroach – my wife’s idea of hell

My wife is often a little freaked out by the sight of any insects in the home, especially if she sees them in our kitchen. She has a bit of a thing about hygiene anyway, particularly in the area where we prepare food for ourselves and our two small children.
Last Saturday morning, I saw a cockroach scuttling under the fridge, and I decided to try and do something about it without telling her about my discovery. I asked a mate of mine about the situation, and he suggested that I read up about roaches on the Internet to find out more.

I have always loved the sight of traditional London taxis whenever I see them on the road, and having recently received a very welcome inheritance, I have decided to buy one for myself. I don’t want to drive one for a living, however; I just want it as a little run-around for me to use at weekends.
A friend of mine suggested a website which offers cabs for sale on the Internet, so I had a look last night. I found an excellent selection there, ranging from brand new vehicles to older, second hand models at very affordable prices.

I have always hated decorating ever since I was a small boy, and the older I get the more reluctant I become to don the overalls and fetch the paint brushes from the loft. Even something as simple as painting the skirting boards is something that I would rather leave to other people.
However, my wife and I have been looking at new houses recently, and the idea of moving into a home that is already finished to a luxurious degree is something that really appeals. If I had my way, I would move into one of them in minutes.

Organising indoor team bulding

Our team has just been given the task of organising an indoor team building event so we have been trying to organise some ideas.

The event has to be ained at 25-35 year olds, so we have got quite a broad spectrum of people to cater for.

From doing a few searches on the internet, some of the top ideas have included go-karting, murder mystery event or puzzle solving in teams.

We have also decided to put together a fun quiz for the end of the day, where we will be testing the knowledge of the team about their team mates.

It is crazy how sold house prices have varied over the years.

Just a few years ago, some houses were fetching more than 10% than they are fetching now.

We are looking to sell our house in the next couple of years, and we are have been told we are lucky we bought our house a good few years ago, as we should still be able to make a good profit on our house.
