While not strictly related to batteries (although mobile phones do have batteries in them), this information is so handy I thought I’d pass it on to you anyway. Did you know you can recycle your mobile phones for cash?
Most people have an old phone or two sitting gathering dust at the back of a drawer – now you can send them away (usually to a freepost address) and get cold, hard cash in return! The companies will either use your phone for parts for other phones, sell them in other countries or recycle the component parts and recover useful materials from them.
